Payment terms

When is payment due? 

A minimum of 10% deposit is required upon booking and prior to the inspection.  The remaining balance will need to be paid after the inspection takes place and prior to the report being issued. This amount will be deducted from the nominated credit card details supplied with the initial 10% deposit or chosen method of payment.

What happens after payment?

A confirmation email will be sent to you, which provides the booking details, the estimated time you will receive your report, as well as our pre-engagement and cancellation policy.

 

Our commitment

BeSafe Group guarantees delivery of your ordered report within 24 business hours.

If the report is not delivered within the allocated time, we will offer 10% refund.

 

Cancellation prior to the service being completed

We will need to be notified either by email (info@besafeinspections.com.au) or phone (02) 9410 3740 as soon as you become aware that a cancellation is required. Cancellation fees and charges will be applicable if notice of intention to cancel is made within 24 hours of scheduled booking. Time is the critical factor in avoiding or minimising cancellation fees and charges.

These rates are charged as follows:

  • Cancellation Fees and Charges
    • More than 48 business hours prior to the agreed report date / time
      ~ no cancellation fee or charge.
    • More than 24 business hours prior to the agreed report date / time, but less than 48 hours
      ~ no cancellation fee or charge
    • Less than 24 business hours prior to the agreed report date / time
      ~ 20% of the agreed inspection price
    • Same day cancellation prior to the agreed report date / time
      ~ 50% of the agreed inspection price

 

Are you unhappy with the service provided?

At BeSafe Property Inspections, we pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service skills whilst delivering comprehensive reports in a timely manner. We ensure our clients are always kept well informed throughout the process and also keep our inspectors readily available to discuss any questions or concerns which may arise. In the event of any dispute or claim arising out of, or relating to the inspection or the report, you must notify us as soon as possible of the dispute or claim by email, fax or mail. You must allow us (which includes persons nominated by us) to visit the property (which visit must occur within twenty eight (28) days of your notification to us) and give us full access in order that we may fully investigate the complaint. You will be provided with a written response to your dispute or claim within twenty eight (28) days of the date of the inspection.

 

Refunds for all services with major faults/defects as per the Australian Consumer Law

Complaint investigation

In the event any litigation is started as a result of the inspection and/or report, you indemnify us against any legal fees and expenses incurred where you have not first allowed us the opportunity to visit the property to investigate the complaint and provide you with a written response within 28 days.

 

Disclaimer of liability to third parties

Compensation will only be payable for losses arising in contract or tort sustained by the client named on the front of this report. Any third party acting or relying on this report, in whole or in part, does so entirely at their own risk.
